I have an ashtry in the shape of a wing. It’s 7 1/4 inches wide and 7 3/4 long. It’s red and on the bottom it says: RED WIND POTTERY USA RED WING MINNESOTA. It’s in perfect condition. Peggy

Red Wing Stoneware hanging planter

Question:
I have a pair of these planters and am curious about name of items, date produced, etc. There is a hold in bottom and inscribed in the clay -Red Wing-R.W. Union S.W. CO. and the numeral 8. It is 9 1/2" in diameter and 6 1/4" high. Both are in excellent condition. I don’t think they ever were used as planters. Thank you. Oliver

we call this an "indian pot", it is a hanging planter, shape # 130, done in the brushed ware glaze. It came in 3 sizes, this is the smallest.. Value is around 90.00. thanks, steve & rose

Gypsy Trail Plain Swirl pitcher, bottom marked 735

Question:
Steve & Rose: You have received a couple if questions over the years about a pitcher with 735 as a bottom mark. Just so you will know, it is a Gypsy Trail Plain Swirl pitcher made from about 1938 until at least 1944. It came in a wide variety of colors. I am attaching a picture. Terry

Brushed Ware planter and dish

Hi, Was just wondering if this planter pot and saucer are red wing brushware? There is no marking on the pot. The pot is just under 9"tall and 9" diameter and there is a number ’8′ on the underside of the saucer. Thanks, Rich

I have five pieces of artware that I can’t find in my books. Could you help me with some answers as to when they were made and the value of each. They are all in perfect condition. Large grey vase with pink on the inside #B1419. Two wall pockets one green one brown #M1517. Brown ashtray #831. Yellow Vase, grey inside #1259. Thank you so much for any insight. Jason
