I have a pair of these planters and am curious about name of items, date produced, etc. There is a hold in bottom and inscribed in the clay -Red Wing-R.W. Union S.W. CO. and the numeral 8. It is 9 1/2" in diameter and 6 1/4" high. Both are in excellent condition. I don’t think they ever were used as planters. Thank you. Oliver
I recently submitted a question without a picture. I have two 14" vases in a pink/mauve color. The bottom says RED WING USA 1563 14" What can you tell me about it and its value? Denise
Any idea if this is authentic and what approx. value might be? found it at a yard sale… Nancy
Steve & Rose: You have received a couple if questions over the years about a pitcher with 735 as a bottom mark. Just so you will know, it is a Gypsy Trail Plain Swirl pitcher made from about 1938 until at least 1944. It came in a wide variety of colors. I am attaching a picture. Terry
Hi, Was just wondering if this planter pot and saucer are red wing brushware? There is no marking on the pot. The pot is just under 9"tall and 9" diameter and there is a number ’8′ on the underside of the saucer. Thanks, Rich
