Question:
I purchased a piece of Red Wing art pottery for my mother when I was 10. I am now 50, so I know it is at least 40 years old. I have no idea how old this piece was when I purchased it. The blue stamp on the bottom says Red Wing Art Pottery and has the number 164 stamped in the bottom. I believe it is a vase, not a planter. The earthtones at the top blend into a blue-green at the bottom with two lions walking. It is approx. 8" tall with a 3 1/2" opening. At the roundest point, it is 6-8" in diameter. Thank you Tyna

Red Wing Lexington Pattern
Question:
I have a set of Red Wing dinnerware in the Rose pattern (square ivory plates with a large mauve rose in the center). It includes place settings for eight (dinner and lunch plates, cups and saucers), and I also have a number of matching serving pieces: coffee server, creamer and sugar bowl, serving platter, serving bowl, relish dish, gravy bowl and covered butter dish. I’d like to sell them but am not sure how to go about it. (Of course, I’d like to get the best price I\’m able to find.) Any assistance you could give me would be appreciated!! We’ll be in Red Wing this coming Sat., the 24th, and I could bring the set along, if that would be helpful. Thank you so much!!! Candy

Hello, and thanks for your time! I have two pieces of RWP, #430 and #M5004. They are from my childhood home in NW Minnesota. The bird vase #430 has chips, one on the inside and one on the outside edge of the upper left rear corner. I have detail pics of these. The fluted vase #M5004 has no damage that I can discern. Can you tell me about them? Sincerely, Bill Warford

Village Green Dinnerware
Question:
I learned some dishes I got when no one else in my family wanted them were Red Wing Village Green. I took them to a local consignment shop but no one bought the. I decided to list them on ebay and am amazed at the bids they are getting. There are plates in three sizes (10 1/4", 8 1/4" and 6 1/4"), berry bowls, and a couple saucers. You can see these ebay listings now until next Thursday. My Mother has the set of graduated kitchen cannisters that are the green and brown glaze. Approximately what would the cannisters be worth? I assume they are in good condition like the plates I have, but since I can\’t be sure, a ballpark figure would be appreciated. Thank you Beverly
