I work with a man that bought a old school house and this Red Wing cooler with drinking fountain was still in it. I was wondering if this crock was modifed or was it made that way? And if so what the estimated valve would be. Thank you Dan
Answer: Dan, your friends Red Wing water cooler was manufactured this way. It was produced by the Red Wing Stoneware Company between 1930 & 1936. In mint condition and with the fountain, it has a value in the area of $350 to $400. Al Kohlman
