Question:
I have a Swan Vase that has the number 257 on the bottom and there is a blue stamp that says ??? Art Pottery in blue. The top part is smudged – but I was told this might be a Red Wing piece. It is a white glaze, 6-3/4″ tall – about 6-1/4″ wide. The base is 3-1/2″ wide.

Flight Dinnerware
Question:
Helping a friend set up for an estate sale, I just came across a service for 8 of Red Wing "Flight" dinnerware. I am sorry that I cannot get a picture of it for you. Would you be able to tell me its value? There are dinner plates, luncheon plates, elliptical- shaped bowls, mugs and saucers, and an oblong service piece. Is this as terrific as I think it may be? Thank you Karen

Red Wing Ewer # 1622
Question:
Hi, My husband and I found this Red Wing vase at a flea market a few months back. It does have a nick where some of the glaze has come off and it’s at the bottom. I really don’t know to much about it like glaze and what not. It states on the bottom: Red Wing U.S.A. 1622. I was hoping you could help me out and tell me about it’s history and possible value if any? Many Thanks! Molly

Bakeware (Oomph) dinnerware?
Question:
My mother-in-law recently passed away and my husband and I acquired some Red Wing Pottery/Stoneware (we’re not really sure how to classify it). There is a salad bowl with salad spoon and fork, a casserole dish with cover, two bowls, and a set of salt and pepper shakers. The set is brown on the outside and a sagish green on the inside and a band around the top. They all say Red wing USA on the bottom except the salt and pepper – one of which has the initials RW. I cannot upload a picture at this time, but could possibly get you one later this week. Any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ~ Elsa Green

Question:
My wife and I on a trip to Alabama picked up a 5 gal ICE WATER crock with birch leave design. The lid that was with the crock we knew was not the correct one. What should we be looking for in collecting a lid that would have been with this crock originally. Thanks Lawrence.
