Smart Set divided vegetable dish

Hi, I really love the Red Wing Dinnerware. I recently purchased, at an estate sale, a kidney shaped divided dish that is a cream colored base with black and green geometric squares pattern. It is marked with the Red Wing stamp in red. I am trying to find out what the piece is used for and what is the pattern name. I have a dish I refer to as a clamshell candy dish,but can find no information on it,or a comparable piece.It is aprox: 7"long x 5"wide x 2 1/2"deep.Multicolored and glazed.It is stamped on bottom-Red Wing 659.

Damaged dinnerware available ???

Hi Larry: You helped me out a few months back by answering my burning question about Red Wing backstamps and how they customarily (generally) marked their dinnerware patterns. I have several pieces from different patterns with chips or hairline cracks that I’m planning to toss. Before I throw away, do you know of anyone who would like to have them–for free of course?
