Question:
Hi Larry: You helped me out a few months back by answering my burning question about Red Wing backstamps and how they customarily (generally) marked their dinnerware patterns. I have several pieces from different patterns with chips or hairline cracks that I’m planning to toss. Before I throw away, do you know of anyone who would like to have them–for free of course? They are usable for either a "project" or serviceable for someone who doesn’t mind "chippy." Shipping would be on me. Best regards, Luanne (the lone Red Wing Collector in CT) Luanne
Larry, I emailed her to let her know there are other collectors in her state. She is not a member yet so I encouraged her to join.

I’m not sure what to do with this request. The only person I can think of who might be interested in free broken dinnerware is Bonnie Meyers. I think she uses (or used) broken pieces as filler in lamps and perhaps other pieces.
Another possibility would be to post this as an answered dinnerware question and have any readers interested in her items contact you, or perhaps they could contact Luanne directly……….Larry
