We have a #2 redwing crock with lid. The lid has a brown band and a daisy motif around the knob on the lid. It is salt glaze I assume as it is the clear glaze. The wing is large, 4 inches above the oval. What is value? Patricia

Answer: Patricia, the lid on your 2 gallon crock has me confused. I do not know of a Red Wing lid with a brown band with a clear glaze. I really need to see a photo of this lid to tell if it is indeed Red Wing & if it is zinc or salt glaze. Your 2 gallon Red Wing crock with the 4 inch wing would have a value around $60 if it is in perfect condition. Al Kohlman
