Stoneware Collection

Question:
Hi, I have several questions about some pieces of my late mother-in-law’s that my husband has decided, now that it’s been several years, he no longer wants. Since I’m the more web-savvy one, I’m doing the research and such, and I could use all the help I can get because I know nothing about pottery. So you have my thanks in advance for any knowledge you can share. The first question is how I should describe the 5 gallon jug so Red Wing collectors know exactly what it is, as well as how much I might expect for it. Is that a small wing? The second question is kind of general. Can you identify any of the other pieces, and, if so, what are they? I’m hoping the ones with the blue crowns are recognizable, at least. I’ve stuck them all into one image. I hope that’s okay. Pattie

Hi, I purchased a 3 gal stoneware crock, and am wondering who the maker is and what the value would be. It stands 11 inches tall, and is 101/2 inches across. On the front is a mark that is a blue crown with a 3 written inside the crown. The top edge is unglazed, and the inside is glazed a rich brown. The outside is an oatmeal color. The bottom is incised by hand 3 gal and USA. The original price is written on the bottom in grease pencil, and it says $14.99. I can send along a picture if needed, but don’t have one right now.
