Question:
This canister is 9 inches high, 8 inches in diameter, and is solid and heavy. The number 1 is on the very top of the lid and it has a removeable lid. It looks like it may be a vintage sugar canister. The Red Wing marking on the side is 4 inches long by about 3 inches high. The bottom has no finish at all and It is in very good condition with a few minor chips and no cracks at all in it. Answer: Hello. I am not quite sure what information you are looking for, but your description was quite well done. Your Red Wing 1 gallon crock with the large wing in mint condition along with the 1 gallon Red Wing button lid should bring in the neighborhood of $600. If your chips are minor, I would think your piece (with lid) should still be worth $600. It is a gorgeous piece with a nicely balanced and well stamped 4" wing. Very nice piece. Al Kohlman
