I have a Christmas Tree Holder. It is stoneware. On one side of the holder "Christmas Tree Holder" is glazed in blue. On the opposite side, in a rectangular blue box is "Patent Applied For," and above it in an oval blue shape is, "Red Wing, Union Stonewrae Co.,Red Wing, Minn." I would like to sell it. I found this 4 Gallon Birch leaf Churn a couple months ago in Rochester… Paid $300. Look at the leaf and oval… they are reversed. I have never seen an oval over Leaf in any of the Red Wing books. The Crock is mint, no cracks or chips or hairlines… and the lid is mint too. Picture is provided. Can I tell my wife this is a keeper? Please advise. -Scott

I just have acquired a piece six-gallon stoneware from my grandparents and was wondering its value. It is in very good overall condition, with just a small chip in the left handle and a few hairline fractures on the inside bottom.
