5 gallon Red Wing Water Cooler

Question:
I recently photographed my Grandfathers collection of Redwing pots. There is about 25 peices in the collection. I will attach a image of the 5 gallon water cooler with spicot. From the knowledge I gained from looking at your site for 1/2 an hour i think there are some rare pieces. I would like to post all of the photos but can only upload one at a time. Here is the 5 gallon water cooler with no cracks and orginal spicot. Corey

Stoneware Quart Jar and Belle Kogan 100 line vase 765

Question:
I have a vase and a stoneware quart jar that I think are both red wing products the vase is 8" high 6 1/2 wide and 3" deep it is a rusty burnt orange or copper color with the number 765 and red wing stamped on the bottom. I have looked up that number and it shows a stove vase not mine. The stoneware jar has writing stamped on bottom but can not make it out except for the words mason and company with what looks like a patent # of 2410 or pat. Jan 24 10 there are no other markings on this jar except the lid which is a ball lid with milk glass inserted in the cap. The vase is in great shape with no damages the jar has a few chips and some hairline cracking in the glaze how old are these and what are they worth. Thank you for your help. Michael

Answers: Michael

your vase is part of Kogan’s 100 line from 1939, copper is the glaze color. Value is around 75.00. thanks, steve n rose

Michael, your Red Wing art pottery vase will need to be answered by the art pottery experts. The Stoneware fruit jar you have looks and sounds like the Red Wing mason jars. Without the label on the front and the poor bottom stamp, I am afraid the value will be quite low. $25 to $50. It is the decoration or advertising that collectors are looking for. Al Kohlman

I found a 5 lb. pantry jar with the original lid,it has a small red wing about(2) inch on it and two blue bands on top and bottom. The lid has 2 bands on the outer edge then 1 band up toward the center then 2 more bands in the center. It has a bar in the center. It also has a petal design around the bar. There are no cracks, chips or repair done to this piece. Color is good, the blue is sharp and the red wing is clear and sharp. When was this made and what is the value of this piece? 3gallon Red Wing Ice Water cooler, Minnesota Stoneware

Question:

I have a question regarding a red wing \"Ice Water\" cooler. It is a 3 gallon. Very nice markings, no cover. It does have small chips on the handles and a hairline on the inside bottom. The rim is in very good shape. It does not have the oval stamp at the bottom, and I didn\’t see one on the inside or the bottom of the cooler, I am just wondering the significance of this. Thanks for your time. Jeremy
