Please let me know if the crock in the attached picture has any value and when it might have been manufactured. It measures 8-1/2" high x 8" across the mouth. On the side it is marked "White’s Pottery Works Fort Dodge Iowa. It is in very good condition – no cracks, only minor chips in the glaze. Thank you. Nina

8 gallon Union Stoneware elephant ear crock

Question:
8 Gallon Elephant Ear Crock I bought a red wing 8 gallon Elephant Ear Crock at an auction this summer in MN and would like to know how much it is worth as I paid $90. I don;t see these much and was so excited to get it. There are no chips, cracks etc. It’s perfect except the 8 was smudged a little when made. You can see it on the photo if you look close. Hi, a friend of ours found a 40 gallon crock half buried in the ground in a barn here in Indiana. We have tried to research it and cannot find anything on it. I stands about 2 1/2 to 3 ft tall and it has a Blue Ribbon on the front with 40 on it. Do you know anything about these? Becky

4gallon salt glaze lazy 8 cooler with hex bung hole

I just purchased this red wing cooler at a estate sale this morning can you give me any information on it’s markings, year and value? It is missing the lid but there are no cracks or hair lines, it has a few chips but overall condition is very good it is marked red wing stoneware company over the hole I did not see any markings on the bottom.
