Question:
I have a crock that I think is Red Wing. It is 17 1/2" tall and 12 1/4" diameter. I think that it is salt glazed. It is light brown on the outside with blue markings. It is dark brown on the inside. It has ear like handles. The blue markings look like a lollypop and the number looks like 10 or 20. It is in good condition. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Lyle Cooper

Answer: Lyle, I have viewed the photos of your crock. It is a 10 gallon salt glazed crock with a lazy 8 target mark. Your crock is not Red Wing. I think it is a Western Stoneware Company crock. Not being Red Wing, I just do not have much history or value on it. Al Kohlman
