Question:
I am wondering what you can tell me about this centerpiece planter. That is its function, but I don’t know exactly what to call it. It has yellow glaze and the bottom says "Red Wing USA B1420" It is about 15" long, 5" wide and 3" high. It has spots for 2 taper candles as well as the flower arrangement. What do you think it is worth? How old is it? It belongs to my mother. Mary
Answer: Hi Mary

Hello. Any detailed information you can provide on this Minnesota Stoneware Company 2-gallon salt glazed crock would be appreciated. It is 9 3/8" tall and 10" across and appears to be hand made (coiled) and the cobalt decoration appears hand applied. The inside appears to be Albany slip with a swirled pattern on the bottom. Raised letters encircling the bottom read "Minnesota Stoneware Company" and "Red Wing". Any other questions just let me know. Thanks! Bob
This lid is 16 and 3/4 in. in diameter. Petal design, marked 12, wire handle. Light amber lip, darker amber rim and sand colored dome. very good condition. Please advise possible age and value of piece. Thank you!
We are interested in knowing how much a few Red Wings Crocs are worth. We have an 8 gal. no lid, two 2gals. one with 2 leaves and the other with wheat decoration. We also have 3 & 4 gal. with the wing decoration and the Red Wing Stamp. All are in good condition. The 2 gal. w/wheat has a chip on the rim and the 2 gal. w/leaves has a crack going down the back. We appreciate your help with this manner. Mindy
