Al, I have a question about a jug I have, it’s a Red Wing 4 gallon bee hive jug marked by a "4" but has no other markings. Just wondering about approx. value and age? It is in very good shape with no cracks or chips but some flaws in the glazing proccess (looks like splits in the glaze). Thanks for the help. Cole

8 gallon Red Wing crock with a flower pattern cover

I have an 8 gallon Red Wing crock with a flower pattern cover, and hanging handles. It has the Red Wing symbol, and in the circle says Red Wing Union Stoneware. The cover has a chip, but still fits fine. It also says it was patented Dec. 21 1915. I will try to upload a photo if you would like one. Susan

RED WING U.S.A. 734, 10 inch canoe

My mom was born and raised in Minnesota and among her things is a canoe with the following on the bottom: RED WING U.S.A. 734 It’s off white glazed, with a reddish-brown interior, about 10" long and 2 1/2 inches wide. there are 3 sizes of the canoe, part of the birchbark line of 1960. Yours is the smallest size, wtih a value of around 100.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
