Question:
Hi Al– I have acquired a 5 gallon churn to add to my collection. It looks just like the 3 gallon I previously sent photos of, including the lid. Any information on value would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

20 gallon 1909 red wing crock
Question:
I found a 20 gallon red wing crock in mint condition, no chips or cracks. However, there was a stamp that stated patened december 17, 1909 in an oval in blue ink on the side of the crock by the handles. Does this mean that this is a reproduction, or newer crock vs an old crock?

Question:
Hello, I recently was lucky and being at thr right time and place was able to purchase the 1st commertive(yes 1977) With the option of buying 1978. Can you please tell me a value or even a ballpark figure. For these 2. I am only missing 4 after that 1980 ( I think its a bowl), the redwing ashtray one(mine broke) last years, and 2004. If you have the complete series is it valued more. For me to get a insurance binder I need to be able to show what they are worth is there a current price guide that I can use to base the value. Any help would be appreciated p.s, I did also join the collectors society made it by 1 day before i would have missed the deadline for the upcoming commertive. Lisa

15 gallon red wing
Question:
Hi Al– Thanks so much for answering my previous question about my "Crown Crock." I have now acquired a 15 gallon Red Wing crock, as well as a 3 gallon churn (?). Both are in excellent condition, with nice bright markings. The 15 has original handles and the "1915" stamp. The churn has a lid (not sure if it\’s the correct one or not). The 15 gallon also has a wooden lid-type thing…not sure what it is. Any info you can give on value, etc. would be very helpful. Thanks! Stephanie

6 gallon butterfly salt glaze churn
Question:
Hi – I recently acquired a 6 gallon Signed Red Wing Butterfly Churn which does have several cracks. According to the 2002 Red Wing Stoneware ID and Value Guide by DePasquale, Peck and Peterson, on p. 55, they show a picture of "the only signed butterfly churn know". I’d like to know if any others have been found or if mine is the second known one. Also, I’d like to know an approximate value for my churn in this condition. Other than the cracks, the handles are in good condition and there is very little wear around the rim. There is some wear on the cobalt flower. I’ve tried to attach several pictures, but it seems I can only attach one at a time. If so, I may have to send a separate email. Please let me know who to send it to. Thanks for any info you can give me. Kathy Bruce
