20 Gallon crock

Question:
My mom has a large crock – it is 23inches high – 17 inches across (inside diameter – outside diameter is 19 inches) there is a faded 20 on the side. The inside is dark brown, the outside off white in color, there is an indented line circling the crock about 3/4 of he way up from the base. It is in great conditions – no cracks or peeling. There are no markings on the bottom to indicate where it was made. Any help on identifying this would be greatly appreciated as she would like to sell it, but has no idea of how much she should expect. Thanks for your help, Missy

Blue Churn with handle

Question:
Someone told me that Red Wing pottery doesn’t necessarily have to have the red wing logo or name on it. Could you please clarify? Also wonder if you can tell me who made this piece? It is 19 1/2 inches tall, the wooden paddle part is 34 inches tall. The mouth of the churn is 8 inches across. The fattest part of the churn is approx 10 inches across. A couple small places has the blue part worn off and you can see the pottery underneath. The bottom has initials but if you look really careful you can see what appears to be an 8 and looks like at one time there was a name there. Does the big 6 on the top mean it is a 6 gallon? Thank you very much. KB
