Question:
we have a "Redwing Union Stoneware Co." crock that has a number "6" on the it..assuming it is a 6 gallon..with wire handles. the oval is approx 1 3/4" wings are approx 2 3/4". It is in perfect conditon & after reviewing different sites we have determined that it is from 1930-1936 as 1936 is when the name change to Redwing Pottery. 30 Gallon crock with three wings

I have a 30gallon redwing crock with one bright wing on it with 2 other one going around the crock. these 2 are not as bright as the first one. Have you every see one like this? This has wire handles . I would like to know something about it. Thank you John
40 gallon double birch leaf

We have recently acquired a 40 gallon Red Wing crock and we’re wondering what’s it worth? There is no lid with it. It’s in very good condition with no visible cracking and has been used every year for making sauerkraut by my inlaws. The seal at the bottom says Union Stoneware Co., Red Wing, Minn. I have 3 Red Wing items that I am interested in knowing the value of : All 1) 12" Butter (2) churn with lid 2) 12" Water Cooler with Hinman Milker Mankato,MN advertising logo 3) 17" Jug (5) with Handle All items have some wear along the bottom edge but otherwise are not cracked. 6 gallon red wing, bail handles
Question:
I have an old Red Wing Crock. It is marked with a ’6′ and states ‘Patented Dec. 21st 1915′. Both handles are still attached and has one small crack on the back side approx 6.5". Crock stands approx 14.5" tall and is approx 12" wide. I was given this by my grandmother and would like any information available on this piece. I’ve attached photo of front and back. Thank you! Wax Sealer, Minnesota Stamp (M5)
Question:
What is "Albany slip"? I found a book titled "Redwing Stoneware" by Dan & Gail DePasquale & Larry Peterson. On page 113 there is a picture of my wax seal crock. It states that the only Redwing wax seal ever to be found to be marked was the 1 quart barrel, but the jar I have is clearly marked on the bottom and is a 1 gallon size. It states the value at $100 to $150.
