Question:
I have an old Red Wing Crock. It is marked with a ’6′ and states ‘Patented Dec. 21st 1915′. Both handles are still attached and has one small crack on the back side approx 6.5". Crock stands approx 14.5" tall and is approx 12" wide. I was given this by my grandmother and would like any information available on this piece. I’ve attached photo of front and back. Thank you! Michele Mannisto
Answer: Michele, you have a 6 gallon Red Wing crock which was manufactured between 1936 & 1947. With the large chip & small crack, the value is quite low. $30 to $35. Al Kohlman
