Brown Bowl with stripes

Question:
How can I tell if the bowls I have are Red Wing if there are no markings? I’ve uploaded one photo and included a link to my Picasa web album. You will need to remove the spaces I’ve added. I wasn’t sure if the link would block this request. These bowls were my great grandmothers. My mom (born in 1924) grew up watching her make bread in the larger bowl. We are getting ready to auction them in my mother’s moving sale/auction. You may also call me at 316-841-3536. Thank you. http:// picasaweb. google.com /teresahansen/Bowls

Chef Pierre Cookie Jar top

Question:
My son has a Chef Pierre cookie jar (blue) and the top was broken. Is there ever a chance that one could find another top for it? Also….I was born and raised in Red Wing so have several pottery pieces. One was a chamber pot with a lid that was decorated with flowers. It is many, many, many years old. I have never seen another like it and wondered if there is value to it. Sorry I don’t have a picture of it right now.

Red Wing Flower Pot

Question:
I would like to know the value of a flower pot I purchased that I believe is RedWing. The marking on the bottom are very unclear – but I can make out "wing". It is 7 & 1/4" tall. The top diameter is 9" and the base is 5". The glaze is green with a cream colored interior glaze. It has a design 4" from the top in a "V" shape – with 2 upside down v’s inside it.This goes around the perimeter. After this design the diameter of pot indents. The condition is good with one very small nick in the glaze on the lip of the pot. Thanks for your assistance.

Answer: Hello, it sounds to be shape 445, made for many years, and in many different sizes. Value is around 25.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
