My parents have 2-5 Gallon red wing jugs(they have been in the family for 60++ yrs & we we’re told they are clorox jugs). Markings are as follows A lge blue #5 stamped,underneath a drawing of a red "wing", under that in a circle it reads "Red Wing Potteries Inc.,Red Wing,Minn.I can not find any other marking. Looking forward to find out any information.
Answer: Your parents have two Red Wing 5 gallon shoulder jugs. They were made to hold liquids from water to wine and what ever. With the potteries oval, it tells me that these jugs were manufactured between 1936 & 1947. These jugs were the latest jugs to be made by Red Wing. Value per jug is $75. Al Kohlman
