Red Wing Rooster 249, blue casserole

Question:
I found a blue rooster labeled Red Wing U.S.A. number 249 at a garage sale for $2.00. I was told it was the man’s mother-in-law’s. It is approx. 9 inches tall from base to top of his tail and just slightly longer than 10 inches. It is in excellent condition and is blue. 5 gallon Red Wing Shoulder Jug with red ring

Question:
I have a large jug. It is about 12 inches across and 18 1/2 inches high. It is a light beige/gray/ It has the letter 5 on it and below that a gold wing and further down, Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. Red Wing, MN. It has a handle towards the top and about a 1 1/2 opening on top. It has a red redge around it as it narrows toward the top. It seems to be in perfect shape. What might it be worth and where would I sell it. Mary

5 gallon churn with hole on side

Question:
I saw a 5 butter churn that was in very good condition, EXECPT for a 1/2 whole drilled in the lower left sided of the churn. I don’t think this whole was made at the time the chrun was made, I think the whole was made by a previous owner to make a lamp out of it or a fountain. What do you think?
