Hello, I picked up these dishes at an estate sale and although someone had marked them "Red Wing, Village Green Vegetable Bowls" they are not marked and do not appear to be like other Village Green pieces I find online. There are 4 glazed bowls (approx 8" diameter) in excellent condition. The bottoms are a mustard yellow. Any ideas if these are really Red Wing? There is a piece on Replacements.com under redwing but they just have it marked REW12. It seems to match these but I am not sure. I was told they might be an earlier Village Green pattern. i have 15 to 20 small saucers,5-10 small bowls,1 gravy boat,2 sauce boats, and quite a few plates. all fairly small and all a rounded square shape with hand painted redwing on the bottoms of most and light green in color on the bottom and creme colored with leaves and flowers maybe magnolias painted on the surface my mom said they might be worth some money so i figured it was worth a shot to ask ya’ll i cant upload picture to my computer right now but i can text pictures if thats needed i hope to hear from ya’ll soon and thanks for your consideration, Christopher

Hello – I have 2 round shallow dishes which are stamped on the bottom Red Wing Provencial Ware 23 – They don’t look like they have been used at all – excellent shape. They look like round au gratin dishers with simple and attractive fan-like handles. Dimensions: approx top diameter 6 1/2" / approx bottom diameter 4/1/2" They have the unglazed bisque exterior and glazed tan interior, and from descriptions sound like they are WWII era. Question:
I recently was given a set of Red Wing dishes in the driftwood pattern. Due to the lead in the glaze, we are interested in learning the value of the pieces. We have 8 11" dinner plates, 2 8" salad plates, 8 6.5" Side plates, 1 serving platter, 1 casserole w/ intact lid, 1 divided serving dish, 1 undivided serving dish, 8 coffee cups w/ saucers, 8 bowls, 2 serving bowls, 1 sugar dish w/ lid, and 1 set of salt & pepper shakers. The only flaws we have found are: a coffee cup had a broken handle that was glued back together, and a plate had a chip out of the edge. I took pictures of the set and of the flaws, but do not have access to them at the moment. Thank you for your input! Perry

Good Day to you! I am looking for value information on a set of Red Wing dinnerware that has been in my family for 3 generations. According to the website it is the "Tampico Futura of 1955" which fits the family time frame. The bottom of the set all have the number 1106 below the Red Wing emblem. Some items have been chipped and a cup handle glued but almost all of it is in excellent condition. The following is a list of the items I have in my set: 9 dinner plates, 7 cup saucers & 6 cups, 2 salad plates 7"x6.5", 3 small bowls 5"x4.5", 1 set salt/pepper shakers, gravy boat, divided serving bowl, 3 serving bowls 9"x8", bottom of butter dish, divided appetizer platter, 13"x9" serving platter, 14"x11" serving platter and 1 creamer. We were about to let them go at a garage sale and decided to keep them until we had a general value for them. We are no longer able to store them. Thanks for all your help and wonderful website. Hi, I have a 3 piece chafing dish set. A brown ceramic stand which is 3 1/2" h and has a brown sterno holder which sits inside. A brown ceramic pan which is 3 1/2" h and 8 1/2" across sits on top and has a ceramic handle. The pan and stand have a ribbed pattern around them and the pan is blue inside. The cover is missing. Both pieces are marked red wing usa in raised letters on the bottom. I cannot find any info on this set. Could you help with a pattern name and value? Thanks, Rick
