Merrileaf Dinnerware set

Question:
My mother has a set of Red Wing Merrileaf Hand painted China. There are 12 place settings along with every serving pice available (she thinks). She purchased it new back in the 60′s. Can you please give ma an approximate value of this set. As far as I can tell, there are no chips on any of the pices. She has the coffee pot, teapot, celery dish, serving bowls and platters. Salt and pepper shakers, creamer and sugar. Thank you. Janet

Desert Sun Dinnerware pieces

Question:
Desert Sun dinnerware set; My set has:
12 dinner plates, I rate 3 in excellent and 9 in good condition.
12 salad plates, 3 excellent, 6 good, 3 fair.
7 cups and saucers all in excellent, 8th cup in fair.
5 bowls, 1 good, 3 fair, 1 poor but useable.
sugar and creamer in excellent.
A large two sided 4 in high, elongated with squared handles, server in excellent.
1 serving platter, elongated, with square handles in good.

My local antique dealer showed me a book with plates in this patern valued at $6-12, cups & saucer $7-10, sugar and creamer $15-25, small bowls $15-18. I did not realize I had the seving dish and the serving platter so I did not note the price. Do these prices sound current, what does it sound like my set might be worth? I saw 4 salad plates sell for $40 on E-Bay. Thank You Ross

Basket weave bowl marked “BE” and “Red Wing”

Question:
I found a yellow bowl with a basketweave pattern at an estate sale here in Minnesota. The rim is wavy but inconsistent. There are three tiny green pinmarks. It is stamped ‘RED WING USA’ but the initials ‘BE’ are inscribed by hand on top of the stamp. Thanks. If you’d like to see more photos, see http://s265.photobucket.com/albums/ii220/sabarry/20101017/red%20wing%20bowl/?start=all

Normandy Apple plates

Question:
My mother left me with some Red Wing Dishes. I know they are Red Wing because they say so on the back and have the red wind painted on all of them. The only other writing on the back says hand painted. There are 4ea of the 6" plates, 4ea of the 10" plates and 1 of a 14" platter. The design on the plates are an apple. Any idea if these are worth anything and how would I go about selling for the best price if they are?? Kay
