Lexington Plate

Question:

The plate I have found is shaped suare with rounded corners. It has a verigated pinkish rose with green leaves painted in the center. On the back side it states "RED WING" written on the edge of what appears to be a ‘wing’ and underneath states ‘hand painted’. At the bottom corner of the wing is a number 7. The stamp is of pink color.

Any info you can provide would be helpful. I do not collect RED WING Pottery. There is a glaze crack on the edge of the plate that is approx 1 inch or so long. If this plate would be of interest to anyone they are welcome to contact me at my email address. Thank you, in advance, for your assistance. Brenda

Pink Plate with pear, apple, and grapes on the cups, salt and pepper and plate

Question:
Purchased during 1950′s probably 1953 o4 54, pink squared sectioned plate, with cup, surgar, creamer with a pear, apple and grapes on it. Would like to know the pattern name please.

It’s not mine, but my mom’s and she donated it to an auction. She wanted proof of value. It was purchased in 1952 or 53 at Red Wing. Pink background with pear, apple and grapes, section off, cup, salt and pepper, square plate with rounded edges. That’s about all I can tell you. I’ve gone to the site, but can’t seem to find it.
No photo available.

Thanks. Marylin

Dark orange tea pot, Red Wing

Question:
Hello~ I collect teapots, and recently I found a small orange-colored teapot (photo attached) with Red Wing very faintly impressed into the bottom (it appears I can only attach one photo here, but I do have a picture of the mark), with no other numbers or marks. I know that sometimes reproductions have very faint marks and I haven’t found this mark on any of the websites I’ve checked, which makes me doubt its authenticity. The teapot measures 5 inches tall and about 4 inches across and has no damage. You can see the impressed circular decoration in the photo. Can you give me your opinion as to whether it’s authentic, its approximate age, and value (if any)? Thank you! Anita

Lotus pattern pieces

Question:
I am hosting a fundraiser rummage sale for a nonprofit choir, Singers in Accord. Someone generously donated a collection of Lotus Pattern chartreuse dinnerware. I have the following pieces and would love some guidance on pricing. I want them to sell, but I don’t want to give them away! Most are in very good condition. A few have crazing or small stains –how does that affect value?

12 cream bowls (2 handles, no lids)
9 teacups
7 saucers
4 breadplates
2 fruit bowls
2 rimmed soup bowls

Thanks for your help! Sheri www.singersinaccord.org
