My husband’s mother (born 1907) gave us a vase with the marking "Red Wing U.S.A. 2706" molded into (rather than painted on) the bottom. It’s an unusual shape and the color is darkest green at the block-like base, turning to black, then very dark bluish-grey, ending with a creamy color at the top. I have a leaf shaped piece,15"x7 1/2"x 1 1/2". It is dark green outside, withe yellow inside. Marking on bottom, Red Wing USA 428. Inside is still a gold & red sticker that reads: "75 years Red Wing 1878-1953". It was a gift to my mother, I think it had a flower arrangement in it. The bottom has 3 scuff marks where the mold was.
