Question on another piece I have aquired. This is marked on the base Red Wing 621. It is 10" across and has 3 indents that look like it might be an ashtray. It is eggshell color with brown accents and a rope like edge. There are 3 clusters of grapes equally distributed around the sides. There are some stained palces in the bottom of the bowl but no cracks or chips. It is a heavy piece. I would say in very good condition. Thanks, Sherry

I have recently aquired a few pieces of Red Wing that I can’t identify…hope you can help. This one is marked on the base Red Wing 958. It is a fan shaped vase/bowl. The color is a caramel brown on the exterior that is textured to feel like corduroy. The interior is a rich golden squash color and has a low lustre glaze. The outside top rim of the piece is ruffled. It measures 12" x 5 1/4" x 4 3/4". There are no chips/cracks or crazing. In quite good condition. Thanks, Sherry

I saw a pottery sailboat at a shop a couple of years ago but it wasn’t for sale. About 10 inches tall, the sail was light pink. Any idea how I might find another one? Any idea on what it\s worth? I have 2 pieces of Red Wing Pottery – both clearly marked. One is a flower vase with the #1105 – brown on the outside, green on the inside, stands 8" tall 5" across the top, shaped rectangle with the top flaring out. The second piece is a smaller vase clearly marked with the # M1512, it is 4" tall , 3 1/2" across the top, blue on the outside and yellow on the inside, It has a circular top with ribbed sides.
