Question:
A figurine marked rumrill and 576. Here is a picture of it. I have a figurine or figurine vase or candle holder marked rumrill and 576. it is a nude woman seated on a turtle. she is holding a vase-like item in her hand and that is where you could put a candle or some small flowers. it is about 10 inches tall and cream color. Is this item rare? What is its value?

Answer: Your RumRill nude is from the late 30′s, part of the Athenian group, one of several nude figurals. Red Wing did make these items, although marked RumRill, named after George Rumrill, an artware designer hired by Red Wing. The glaze looks to be Suntan, and her value is around $200-$300. thanks, Steve n Rose
