Question:
I have recently aquired a few pieces of Red Wing that I can’t identify…hope you can help. This one is marked on the base Red Wing 958. It is a fan shaped vase/bowl. The color is a caramel brown on the exterior that is textured to feel like corduroy. The interior is a rich golden squash color and has a low lustre glaze. The outside top rim of the piece is ruffled. It measures 12" x 5 1/4" x 4 3/4". There are no chips/cracks or crazing. In quite good condition. Thanks, Sherry
Answer: Hi Sherry, you have a console bowl, part of the "terra craft" line, 1939. Think the glaze is called Adobe-Apricot. It’s value is $60-$70. thanks, steve n rose
