4 gallon Red WIng Crock

Question:
I have a redwing crock that I found in my parents basement. It is in good shape; no cracks or chips. It has a 4 on it…the red wing measures at two and a fourth inches across…it has a round seal at the bottom that says redwing;potteries,inc;redwing,minn. I am interested to know if it has any value. Question:
What value does a 2 gal. gray color crock have? What was that size used for? I have one that has the two blue leaves curving downward under the number 2 and the oval underneath that with the Red Wing name. There are no chips or cracks. It is clean overall. (no photo yet.) Valerie

3 gallon small wing Red Wing Potteries crock

Question:
The picture shows a 3 Gallon crock with no handles that my Mother used to pickle cucumbers as long as I can remember. It was packed with cucumbers in a brine with dill twigs and stored in a root cellar to process during our cold Montana winters. In the late spring we had great dill pickels from the previous year. The crock has no chips on the bottom or the top rim. I know for sure that she had it in August of 1945 when we moved from Seattle to Billings as I helped load the first crop of cucumbers in it, I was 7 years old at the time. James
