Question:
My mother in Cadillac, Michigan recently passed a crock on to me. Photo attached. 11.5 inches high, 11 inches in diameter, light golden brown exterior, brown/black interior. My google searchs point to the possibility of it being a Red Wing. It has (as described on some web sites) a "lazy eight bee sting" mark with an apparent stylized number 4, with no other markings. Red Wing Jar/Crock.What is it worth? It is self-draining. The background color is grey and it has blue trim. The only other color is the red Red Wing hallmark symbol. It has its original wire handles and its original spigot. It is a 5 gallon or #5 crock, which is indicated right on the front of the piece. The jar measures 15 1/2" high. Hi, Looking for help identifying an unmarked cookie jar/crock. It resembles yelloware. Is 9 1/2" high about 10" across. Has a "drape" design on base and pie crust trim around top that resembles old McCoy bowls. There is a large hand painted flowering cactus on front and crescent rope style handles.
