Ko-Rec Feeder found in old chicken house

Question:
Recently, we found a stoneware poultry waterer buried behind the old chicken house. The waterer is 10 1/2" high, 21" around, has a wire bale handle and has the following printed on it in blue: RED WING KO-REC FEEDER PATENT NO. 1783,780 THE RED WING POTTERIES, INC. RED WING, MINN. SET ON A LEVEL The feeder has a 2" crack in the front and the base to set in on is missing. Presently, I’ve got it cleaned up and displayed in the kitchen. Mostly, I wondered if it is really old. It is certainly an interesting piece. I’d never heard of Red Wing Pottery prior so already I’ve learned something!

2 gallon large wing crock

Question:
Hi, I have a "crock" that I have always wondered about. I finally went on line and found your website. I am interested in knowing if I have a "Redwing" that is important. Please view the photo enclosed. I found it semi-buried in my little backyard 13 years ago when I moved in. I kept it because it looked great! I have used it for many things. Condition wise is great – a few hairline cracks but it holds water. Please let me know if there is any value in this. I often fill it for my little dog to drink out of outdoors! But if it of value I may not!! Thank you. Are you going to be able to open this? If not let me know and I will resend in my email.

6 gallon double handled brown top jug

Question:
Hello! My mother is trying to find any info out on a 6 gallon double handled crock that she has had for years. The only marking is a blue six on the front and we’re not even sure if it’s redwing or not. It’s in perfect shape; no cracks or chips. You can actually see the lines around it that were created when formed. It’s brown on top/creme bottom. Any info you may have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
