Brown Top Shoulder Jug, Red Wing

Question:
Please tell me what you can on my jug – it has no number or wings at all, no markings, but I read what you’ve written about the base of the handle being pressed with the potters thumbs then out left to right, which mine does have that, so I believe it to be redwing? In comparison to my other jugs, this one seems to be a 2 gallon? appx 8.5" up to the brown part, total appx 13" top to bottom and appx. 10" diam. any information & value estimate is appreciated! Joel

i recently purchased a red wing 5 gal. jug. i probably paid to much for it ($60) but i am wondering what the value is on it and what approximater year it was made? it is in mint condition. there are not crack, chips, or hairlines at all. the inside is also very clean. whomever had it took very good care of it. any help would be appreciated. thank you, laura

3 gallon Red Wing Churn

Hi. I have a 3 gallon red wing butter churn that has the normal size wing and the number 3 both of which are well marked. There is no oval on the churn and it does not have a cover. There are no chips, cracks or other imperfections. What would be the approximate value of the piece and would it be worth more or less if it had the oval? Thanks for your help. Ken

“10 gallon Ice Water” with Double Birch Leaf decoration

I recently purchased a double birch leaf "10 gal. Ice Water" crock (picture attached) from the Redwing Union Pottery Co. The crock is in mint condition–no cracks or chips–and has a hex spigot.
