Crescent Creameries lid

Question:
I dug a piece of stoneware at Red Wing just before the summertime time that i do not know anything about. it is a disk measuring about 5 inches across and has big bold letters on it that read: Crescent Creameries, Trade Mark with a moon and star. It is covered on the front with albany slip and is very bold in markings. there is a chip on the edge as well but it looks to be solid. I found a part to another one as well but I did not save that part, as it was broken. i was wondering what it is worth and how rare it is? Please let me know. Jason.

Albany slip jug with A mark

Question:
We have a brown glazed pottery jug that we think has been in our family for over 50 years. The jug is in excellent condition with only one small chip off the edge of the mouth. The jug is 7.5 inches high and 5.5 inches across (diameter) the base. We only found one marking on the jug, a letter "A" pressed into the surface below the handle (see photo). We would appreciate anything that you can tell us about the jug including where it was made, its age, and current value. We have attached one photo here but have others to share with an expert, if needed. LouAnn

5 gallon small wing crock

Question:
I am wondering what the attached pot is worth approximately. I got it from my Grandpa’s farm. It does have a crack on the side but seems to be very sturdy still. I can clean it up nicely too. Thank you. Brad Miley

5/6 Red Wing Stoneware lid

Question:
Hi Al, Question on a 5&6 lid I recently bought on Ebay. I looked through some of the Red Wing books and only found info on double stamped crocks but not lids. As you can see, it is both stamped 5&6 and also marked w/the cobalt 5 and 6 under the glaze. I paid $160.00 for it and am hoping that I did ok on this. The lid is in what I would consider excellent shape. About the only thing that might affect the value would be a glaze pop on the bar handle under the lip (on side of bar handle.) What would your estimate for this be? Also, were there reasons for things being double stamped, or was it usually just an error? I could ses this being an error, but it is marked 2 different ways. Thanks for any info you can provide on this…Darrell
