5 gallon bail packing jar , small wing

Question:
I recently added this crock to my collection and would like help identifying its purpose and a value range. As you can see it is a five gallon crock. Value of a patent applied for verses patent number Chicken Waterers

Question:
We have two different chicken waterers. One has "patent applied for"and one has the "patent number" on it. Both feeders are missing the bottom trays. The feeder without a patent number has a hairline crack and the other is like brand new. I do not have a photo at this time. When were these made? and I would assume that one is older than the other. Spongeware panel bowl, 10″ size

Question:
I this blue and rust spongeware bowl a Red wing paneled bowl? The exterior of the bowl is divided into 12 panels. It measures 10 and 1/2 inches across. It is 5 and 1/2 inches tall. I don’t see any markings. If it is Red wing what size would it be considered. What would the approximate age and value be? Thank you for your time and help. Alicia

5 gallon Red Wing Potteires small wing crock

Question:
We have a Red Wing Potteries 5-gallon crock that my Grandmother gave us quite a few years ago. Just like her, we use it to make open crock barrel pickles. I am wondering if you can tell me anything more about this crock (approximately when it was made, etc.). It is in very good condidtion save for one of the metal handles broke off about 5 years ago.
