Question:
I have a crock that I am looking for some information about. I met a gentleman at an antique show that was selling books about Red Wing Crocks and could not tell me much about it.
The crock is a 5 gallon I beleive milk holder. It is 11" in diameter and is straight up for 12". It then tapers to an opening of 6 1/2". It has the original wire and wooden handle. It also has the original stoneware top. I was told because of the Red Wing emblem that is on it, the products date is from 1915 to 1930.
I currently have terminal cancer and will need to sell it. Can you give me any idea what it might be worth and if anyone in your organization might be interested?
I am afraid I have dial-up so can not attach a picture at this time. I could ask a friend to send one if needed. Thanks, Carla

I received this 3 gallon crock from my mothers estate. I was wondering on its value for settling the estate. Donna
My wife got this jug from her mother. It say’s "Union Stoneware Co., Red Wing, MN". It’s approx. 15 inches tall and about 9 3/4 inches in diameter. Just wondering if you could give me an approximate age and value. Thanks. Rob
Picked up this crock. Belive it might be a North Star. It’s 6-1/2" tall, 6-1/4" wide. The top opening is made for a wax sealed lid. Came with no lid. Color Dark brown, Dave
Hello. I purchased this pie plate because I think it is a nice looking piece. I only pd. $18.00 I don’t believe it is old even though it has crazing and wear on the bottom and inside but just thought I would send it for your appraisal. Did Red Wing ever make pie plates such as this? Thanks, Gary
Size: 6 gallon (I believe) Condition: scuffs, stains. No breaks, cracks or chips. Decorations: no art just markings Markings: 1. Large blue no. 6 2. Red Redwing logo 3. Blue oval containing "Redwing union stoneware co. Redwing, MINN" 4. blue "PATENTED Dec. 21st 1915" 5. not familiar with glazing techniques. I have two of these that have been in my possesion since March of 1979. My Grandfather told me his father bought them when he (my grandfather) was a teenager (pre 1920) and used them to make sauerkraut. Would just like to verify authenticity. Approximate value would be interesting to know but they are not for sale. Wade
I have 2 seven inch cap bowls, spongeware,, looking at page 104 DePasquale et. al…. the ones I have only have narrow ridges… I am confused by the caption "Full panels and ridges"… are the ones I have with only narrow ribs what they are referring to? Both are mint and one has Wi. advertising. I will try to send photos of the latter. Can you tell me value. THANKS. Chuck
