Red Wing Cherry Band Pitcher
Question:
I have a Red Wing cherry band pitcher (the bands are blue) that is in good condition. It has a chip on botton of the pitcher. There are no stamps on it. I appears to be very old, it does not look like a replica. Handwritten on the botton is the name "Joe" and beneath his name is "20" which is worn but can still be read. There are a couple of finger prints imbeded on the blue band portion. Do you have any information on this piece? What is might appraise for? I have downloaded a picture that looks just like mine which I found on the internet.

Red Wing Lamp?
Question:
I was told this is a redwing lamp.Measures approx 19 1/2 inches high from bottom to top of lamp shade.Base measures approx 7 inches high and 26 inches in diameter at widest point. Is it of any value?
Answer: This is real hard to tell, The glaze and shape do not look familar to me. Most Red Wing lamps have an unglazed footed bottom with a number. Often it is hidden by felt.

Blue & White Stoneware Pitcher
Question:
Hi, I have this pitcher I am trying to get and ID for. It is 8 1/4" tall and 5" in diameter at the base. It is glazed blue outside and white inside. It has one grape cluster with ivy on each side and a leaf pattern around the top and base. It has a dry ring bottom and is unmarked. I was wondering if this might be North Star pottery or Rew Wing and if so value on it. Thanks, Gary

Pottery Piece
Question:
This "jug" is about 8 inches tall and about 8 i/2 inches across. It has 2 holes in one end and the inside of that end is glazed and goes down about half way. The other end is has one hole and is unglazed inside. The inside of the unglazed end has several numbers inside, but no names or manufacturer, etc. What is it?
Answer: You have a very interesting piece. We do not recognize this piece. The discripton makes me think of the filter tops of some of the older coffee or tea pots, but you would think that the whole piece would need to be glazed. So our answer is We don’t know.
