Question:
Hi, I have this pitcher I am trying to get and ID for. It is 8 1/4" tall and 5" in diameter at the base. It is glazed blue outside and white inside. It has one grape cluster with ivy on each side and a leaf pattern around the top and base. It has a dry ring bottom and is unmarked. I was wondering if this might be North Star pottery or Rew Wing and if so value on it. Thanks, Gary

Answer: Gary, your pitcher is not North Star. It is listed in the Salt Glaze Stoneware book and falls into the Blue & White Stoneware category . Your pitcher is called "Grape Cluster on Trellis" This pitcher came in three sizes and you have the medium size. Value in Mint condition $225 to $275. Al Kohlman
