I am trying to find out idea of the value of the Red Wing Blue Banded Butter Crock that has been in my family from time of purchase – my grandfather in early 1900′s had a greenhouse near Red Wing Pottery Factory. This Butter Crock has been gently used. I will try to upload 4 pictures. First is front-chip on top right but when looking from top hardly noticeable. Also on wing about 1" in from wing there is a very very fine .crack going from there to top edge. (but not showing at all from the inside). Question:
I have the three red wing wall clocks by the mursen clock company of 1947. The question is on the clock movement. Two of the clocks have a lanshire movement and one (gretta) has a sessions movement. Is that correct? Did they use various manufacturer movements? Of the three is one of them more valuable than the others? thanks toml

I can’t say for sure on the clock movements, I know some are of a different style, I would guess that what you have is original to the clocks. Think the Mammy is worth the most, as it is a more cross collectible. They do make a great set!

I recently purchase in central california a redwing cobalt blue apple dish. there is an approx. 6"x5"leaf like base with an almost centered attached apple 4 1/2" high with a separate lid . The lid is lifted by a handle in the form of a short stem and two leaves. The bottom is blue and barely legible"redwing" is at the edge of the 3" diameter base. Is this really red wing? what is the approximate age of the piece? what is its value or fair market price? Thank you. Fred
