Question:
We visited family in Wisconson frequently and drove to the Red Wing Pottery for purchases. How much is a Princess Redwing ashtray worth? It has a slight nick in the center. How can I sell it to a collector? Thank you! Barb
Answer: Hi Barb
they usually sell for around 200.00 or so, the nick will hurt is some. Ebay is a good way to sell your item. thanks, steve n rose

Enclosed are photos of a double handled salt-glazed beehive jug. I know it isn’t Red Wing because it says Port (or Fort) Edward Stoneware Co. on it with a city name I can’t make out and then N.Y. It also has a 3 which I assume is gallons. Then it has a M.A. (or H.A.) INGALLS, LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. on it. It measures 15-1/2" high and 10" diameter of bottom. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks but does have some crazing in the glaze. I would like to know the value but don’t know where I could get an estimated value. Could you take a guess as to the value of my jug? Thanks a lot. Dayton
I’d like to verify that this 5 gallon Butterfly Crock is by Red Wing and would also like an approximate value. It measures approx. 12 1/2" high and has a 12" bottom diameter. There are two incised lines around the top. The color is strong. There is an approx. 2 1/2" small hairline on the back starting at the bottom and going up and some loss of blue on the left side of the flower and in the middle of the butterfly. Thanks. Kathy
I have a jug and am not sure who made it but think it may be red wing because of the 3 on it it looks like the type of 3 that RW may use it is 16" tall and is about 10" at the widest point has a green glaze i believe is salt glaze but have no idea the 3 is the only marking’s on the piece and it has a corn cob stopper that is all I know of the piece I bought it at an auction and just loved it
I would appreciate it if any one could tell who’s markings this is, I have had it for about 25 years. Periwinkle in color, stands appx.8",appx. 25.75" around the widest part and glazed on the inside as well. The marking on the bottom are what I believe to be an arrowhead with #s under it, unsure if the #s are, 1000 or maybe 1800, the marking are not very visable so I have layed a piece of wax paper over them and used a pencile to bring out the marking. Thank you I have want to know for along time, my mom gave it to me. Roberta

I just received 46 pieces of Red Wing "Lexington Rose" Dishes. There are 8 Dinner plates that have redwing hand painted on the bottom in Red. the rest of these consist of 1 platter (13×10 3/4"), 6 dinner plates, 8 sandwich plates, 8 sausers, 9 cups, 1 teapot w/lid, 1 sugar bowl w/lid, 1 gravy boat, 1 round serving bowl w/handle, 1 serving bowl, and 1 tall pitcher (13") all of these have the red wing logo in blue. Could you tell me the history of these and what the value would be? thank you. I will try to send the photos. Richard
