Question:
I have a jug and am not sure who made it but think it may be red wing because of the 3 on it it looks like the type of 3 that RW may use it is 16" tall and is about 10" at the widest point has a green glaze i believe is salt glaze but have no idea the 3 is the only marking’s on the piece and it has a corn cob stopper that is all I know of the piece I bought it at an auction and just loved it

Answer: Your 3 gallon ovoid jug is not Red Wing. I do not recognize the glaze so I know it is not Wisconsin stoneware either. Sorry, just no idea of it’s maker. Al Kohlman
