My wife has had this for a long time.Given by her aunt. She would like to know value for insurance. We have a house full of antiques. Red Wing Pottery. Dtd boattom of cup April 21, 1948. 8 – Plates 10 3/8" (No damage) 8 – Desert Plates 6 1/16" (No damage) 8 – Small bowls 5 1/4" (No damage) 8 – Cups & saucers (No damage) Creaner & sugar bowl salt & pepper shaker (small flake 1/8" on salt) Tall pitcher (Top cover has had handle glued) 1 – Platter 10 1/4" X 12 3/4" (1 edge chip) 1 – Serving Bowl 8 1/4" (1 chip top edge, 2 chips bottom edge) Thank you kindly, Pat Kinney Odessa, Texas

Red Wing 923 vase

Question:
I have a cream colored urn shaped vase that has red wing–USA–923 stamped on the bottom of it–it is plain-but very pretty piece–if I had a phone number-I could send a picture via cell phone–just wondering if it is actually a piece of red wing–or nothing–didn’t think there were any other red wing companies–it is a large piece –very simple–but striking in that respect-would appreciate any help I can get–thank you so much-Linda Zimmerman-Yankton, SD 57078

I have a 923 listed, it’s 10" tall with small handles and a floral decoration. It was designed in 1939. Value, if this is your vase, is around 65.00 or so. hope this helps, thanks, steve n rose

Rust color platter and yellow pot

Question:
I got 2 pieces at an action that a man there said they were Red Wing but there’s no bottom marks. One is an Orange Platter that measure 14 3/4" Round and the other is yellow. It’s hard to tell colors. Is it Red Wing? Amanda

Banana Cookie Jar

Question:
I was given a yellow banana cookie jar marked Red Wing on the bottom. It is discolored around the top of the jar. There are three small chips on the tips of the bananas and a chip on the bottom of the jar. The lid is in great condition. Sorry, there is no photo to upload. Red Wing Vase 1120 vase follow up

yes, there were several glaze variations, this being a hand decorated one. With this glaze it will be worth a little more. thanks, steve n rose

Red Wing Vase 1120

Question: Our family has a vase in perfect condition as follows: high gloss, 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" top opening, base 3 3/4" x 2 1/8", height 7 1/4". Color is pale grey exterior, rose pink interior. On front left front is fawn c. 5 1/2" tall, vine from feet of fawn angles up to right over side and up to the top forming a small opening outside the vase. On the top left side, a small three-leaf cluster. Back has no exterior decoration. Bottom states on three lines: 1120 RED WING USA. What can you tell us about this vase? Answer: Hello, it was made in 1941. The glaze is luster gray, lined with pink. It has a value of about 45.00 thanks, steve n rose
