yes, there were several glaze variations, this being a hand decorated one. With this glaze it will be worth a little more. thanks, steve n rose
Red Wing Vase 1120
Question: Our family has a vase in perfect condition as follows: high gloss, 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" top opening, base 3 3/4" x 2 1/8", height 7 1/4". Color is pale grey exterior, rose pink interior. On front left front is fawn c. 5 1/2" tall, vine from feet of fawn angles up to right over side and up to the top forming a small opening outside the vase. On the top left side, a small three-leaf cluster. Back has no exterior decoration. Bottom states on three lines: 1120 RED WING USA. What can you tell us about this vase? Answer: Hello, it was made in 1941. The glaze is luster gray, lined with pink. It has a value of about 45.00 thanks, steve n rose
