4 gallon salt glazed lazy 8 target crock

Question:
I have a 4 Gallon, salt-glazed, elephant-ear crock. It is in perfect shape, no chips, no cracks. It has a swirly target-shaped design under the 4, and is side-stamped, with an incised Minnesota Stoneware, Red Wing. Also two "goose dropping "marks. Can you give me some idea of the value, or if someone at the upcoming convention would be able to make me an offer. I live in Wyoming, Minnesota, just about 6 mile north of Forest Lake on 35W. Staffordshire stile dog, not red wing

Question:
Here is a item we think may be Redwing. Stoneware cat 11" high Marked John McKenzie Says AUG 1906? Has other mark letters we cannot make out. We know nothing about its history. Ron

Answer: Hi Ron

Got your pic, this is a Staffordshire style dog. Red Wing didn’t make these, and I can’t say for sure who did. Still a very nice item, and you don’t often see the bottoms inscribed with a name and a date. Wish I could be of more help. thanks, steve n rose

Fondoso bowl with pat. pending marking, Gypsy Trail Line

Question:
I have an interesting Red Wing Potteries dish(maybe bulb planter???). It measures about 9" across at the widest with handles. It is bottom marked: "C REDWING POTTERIES INC. DESIGN PAT. PENDING". This marks looks a little unusual to me. I am guessing it dates to the late 30s early 40s and it was a transitional piece between the round blue ink stamp on some of the early art pottery pieces and the more normal looking mark followed by USA and/or a number. I would like to know if there is a pattern name to this piece, if the bottom mark is rare and/or collectible, and what would the book value be? Thanks Jon from Iowa
