Red WIng 2307, Anniversary line – follow up question

Question:
Help! I just saw your answer to my question. The day after I submitted the question to you, I came back to the site and inserted the number I found on the back and there had been two questions previously asked to you about this number in the art pottery section. I am sorry I failed to give you the number on the back. It says Redwing,USA 2307. I have put this bowl on Ebay as a Redwing piece. I need to remove it if it is not. Would you please review my bowl again and let me know if it is the anniversary series mentioned in your answer to the other two people. They did not attach pictures. If it is a Redwing piece, what was the design called. Was it a specific type of bowl? How many different pieces were in this series. I previously said the colors were black and blue. It may be black and white though it looks like there is blue too. Are there imitations?

My Previous question: Black and Blue console piece

Question: What is this pattern called. It is black & blue. Is it a console piece or a fruit bowl. Thank you Donna

Answer: Hi Donna this maybe dinnerware, I’ll pass it on to our other expert. It doesn’t look like any art pottery that I know of. thanks, steve n rose Answer: Sorry, I know nothing about this item. It definitely is not Red Wing dinnerware. Larry

Answer: Hi again

yes this is an anniversary line shape, it has the oxford glaze. Value should be around 200.00 or so. thanks, again, steve n rose

Lotus dinner plate

Question:
I have a plate that belonged to my grandmother who passed away in 1973. It has the Redwing symbol on the back. It measures 10 1/4 by 10 1/4 inch square. The plate is white. The pattern color has green, black, light brown and some patches of rose in a floral pattern. The pattern itself reminds me of oriental or Hawaiian It fills much of the plate and consists of a white flower with 8 dominant petals. At the left of the bottom petals is a black something. Perhaps a leaf? and at the top of the plate is another black leaf. The light brown pieces look like sticks or very thin leaves. I am thinking that as far as a time period, perhaps the 1940′s or 50′? I am just not sure. /Thanks for any info you can give me. Jane

Cattail Brushed Ware Vase

Question:
Hello! I have what I believe to be one of the brushware pieces. It is about 7½" tall and 3 3/4" wide at the top. I can not find any problems with it. The blue ink circle stamp on the bottom says Red Wing Union at the top, Red Wing, Minn. at the bottom and in themiddle Stoneware Co. There is a paranthesis type mark both above and below the Stoneware Co. words. The dark green glaze inside is glossy and it appears to have been a two-part mold, as I see a seam across the bottom and on each corresponding side, there is a "dotted" effect running top to bottom. Thank you for any help. Holly Moen

Answer: Hi Holly

this is what we call the cat tail vase, brushed ware from circa 1930. Value is around 80.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
