Red Wing 918 vase

Question:
just bought a red wing pot–it’s abt. 12" tall and has kind of an iridescent amber/purple-y/goldy glaze outside (and just below the neck looks mostly "real" gold color), solid amber color inside. on bottom: RED WING, U.S.A., 918 (3 lines). it doesn’t look particularly old and has some water spots i haven’t figured out how to make disappear. thanks!

Red Wing 357 vase

Question:
I have a vase that is marked Red Wing USA # 357. I am figuring it is about 100 years old as my mother got it from her mother. It is a llight gray on the outside, and the inside is pink. It is glazed, with handles on each side and a leafe decoration on the bottom. I am hoping oyu can tell me more about this item. Thank you Dorothy

Heron Vase, brushed ware

Question:
I have a 10in tall flower vase w/wild turkeys on the side all the way around. It says"Red Wing Union Stonware" on the bottom. It’s is painted green striped on brown w/green inside. It is flawless. I think it is 1906-1936 period. Been in my family since new. I live in Northern Ill.

Hello, I have a piano by Red Wing and on the bottom it says on the bottom Red Wing USA M- 1525 Can you tell me what that mean and how much is it’s worth? Thanks so much!

Answer: Hello, it’s actually a planter, but you are missing the lid. It was designed in 1956, by Murphy, that is the letter before the number. It also looks to have a chip on the edge, which will hurt the value even more. Price around 30.00. thanks, steve n rose
