We have a black leaf shaped bowl with the words "Red Wing" stamped on the bottom. It is about 3-4 inches deep and about 8-10 inches at it’s widest point. Can’t seem to find any information about it. I can send picture if that would help – but don’t have it here now.

Hello…I found this vase at a garage sale this morning in Holland, MI. They were asking $10 but I got it for $5.00. It has a green glaze with brown speckles on the outside. Inside it is a terra cotta color. On the bottom the vase says Red Wing U.S.A 795. It has at least a partial Red Wing sticker on the side. It is dirty inside but no chips or cracks. Did I make a good buy? Even if I didn’t, I like it and it looks nice in my house. I am not a collector of anything and have never heard the name Red Wing before but decided to google it and found your site. What can you tell me about it? Thanks, Sheila

The vase is a star pattern?(in shape)pink on the inside and gray on the outside,about 8in. tall and has a gold lable on it. On the underside it says Redwing #412. I have 2 pieces of Red Wing pottery that I am having trouble identifying. The first is a vase with a green crackle glaze, brown interior and brown square base. It is about 14 inches tall and has the number 1335 on the bottom. The second piece is a pitcher. It is round, orange red in color with a handle toward the top. It is marked Red Wing and the number 347, I think (it is hard to read), on the bottom. I would appreciate any information on these pieces. Thank!
Answer: The 1335 is from 1947, there are a few shapes with this square base. Value on it is around 120.00 or so. your pitcher I think is a 547, part of the gypsy trail dinnerware line from around 1942. It’s value is around 45.00. thanks, steve n rose

Answer: It is red wing. part of the bronze line, circa 1965. this one looks to have been painted gold sometime in it’s life. The paint can be stripped off if you like. I believe it’s a candleholder. Value is around 85.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
