Red Wing 1153

Question:
I bought a green vase marked Red Wing 1153, it is in excellent condition with green leaves going all the way around it. I paid $55.00 and plan on keeping it. Good price or not? Also he had a vase that was "brushed" Red Wing with a crane motif. Priced for $95, good price or not? April

Answer: Hi April, I think those prices are fair. If you like them, all the better! The 1153 is from around 1942. The "Brushed" ware pieces are much earlier, late 20′s, early 30′s. Make sure there is a Red Wing blue ink stamp on the bottom, other companies made similar items. thanks, steve n rose
