Question:
I bought a green vase marked Red Wing 1153, it is in excellent condition with green leaves going all the way around it. I paid $55.00 and plan on keeping it. Good price or not? Also he had a vase that was "brushed" Red Wing with a crane motif. Priced for $95, good price or not? April
Answer: Hi April, I think those prices are fair. If you like them, all the better! The 1153 is from around 1942. The "Brushed" ware pieces are much earlier, late 20′s, early 30′s. Make sure there is a Red Wing blue ink stamp on the bottom, other companies made similar items. thanks, steve n rose

Cobalt Blue (exterior) vase Red Wing U.S.A. 679 on bottom. Excellent condition. The inside is a green/yellowish glaze. Estimated around 12-14 inches high. It looks like it has a two "pointed leaf" pattern that runs vertical with a smaller "leaf" on top of a larger leaf. After about the top 5" inches the vase widens and the second leaf starts. The pattern is around the circumference of the vase at the top and continues about half the height. The bottom half is plain.
What Collection does this piece come from, and what can you tell me about it? Thank You !
Hello, I would like to get some information on this pitcher. Thank you! Jane
I have a Red Wing Union Stoneware (mark) jardiniere measuring 8-1/4 inches tall & 10-1/2 inches in diameter. It appears to be brushed ware green & tan. I don’t know if it’s light or dark green. The inside is glazed green & tan. Thank you very much. Cheers, Elizabeth Alpaugh Seattle, WA
Is this real or fake? Found this at local thrift store. Nice creamy white & matte glaze disc shape vase. Bottom marked -RED WING – USA – 81710 or 81410. Measurea approx. 6 3/4" tall & 7" across @ widest point. Overall condition is good no chips or cracks or crazing, but does have 2-3 tiny smudges or dust under the glaze. Also has one tiny flea bite ti inside of top rim, only visable from the backside. I’d like to know everything you can tell me. Thank you, Paul
I have a Red Wing #104 vase, white with pale green inside. It is in mint condition. Any idea of what it is worth and what year it was made? Thanks! Martha Prine Edwards
