Red Wing 747 vase, Belle Kogan’s 100 line

Question:

I have a red wing vase #747, soft blue in color. It was given to my parents as a wedding present I think sometime around 1940. It has handles, what appears to be a fern design on each side. It is about 7" tall and approx 8.5" wide to the outside of the handles. Can you tell me anything about it? I’d be grateful. Carol

Answer:

Hi Carol

you are right on the date, this shape was designed in 1938, part of Belle Kogan’s 100 line. Value is around 80.00 in perfect condition. thanks, steve n rose

I believe the piece to be in mint or near mint condition. I do not have any pictures at this time but I could take some. For now I would just like to get an approximate value on a high quality crock of this description. I am interested in selling it. Regards, Larry Shink
