Question:
My wife and I on a trip to Alabama picked up a 5 gal ICE WATER crock with birch leave design. The lid that was with the crock we knew was not the correct one. What should we be looking for in collecting a lid that would have been with this crock originally. Thanks Lawrence.

Red Wing 2 Gallon Crock with reversed oval
Question:
I have a #2 crock. The Circle stamp (in blue) is 2 1/4 inches. The Red wing is distinct. Usual history, been in the family for years. One barely visible hairline crack 4" No chips. Base solid History ? Value? Is the location of the Union Stoneware circle and the Redwing unique ? I have seen them in opposite order, i.e. the wing in the middle and the circle stamp near the base. Just wondering. Thanks for the time Roger Radley comarad@hotmail.com

Question:
I have found a 50 gallon Red Wing Crock. This crock has the big red wing that looks like a normal red wing crock does, it has a drain in the bottom, this drain looks metal and the bottom of the crock kind of bulges so it drains. I am assuming that this must be the top of a 50 gal Success Filter. I had never seen one before and would like to know the value in good condition. Also, is this what I think it is? Jerry
